With the SimpleWholesalePricer app, you can offer exclusive discounts and shipping rates that are tailored specifically for your most valued customers.

It allows you to set wholesale prices on the whole/partial catalog in a few easy steps.

Steps for Creating Price Rules for Custom Tag Customers

You can start by filling in some general information about the price rule.

  • Go to Price Rules
  • Under Rule Name- Give a unique name to this price rule.
  • Priority - If you run multiple price rules on the same products, this option will allow you to set the priority for each rule. 0 being the highest priority.
  • You can set the rule to enable or disable mode.
  • At the last, you can either schedule the price rule for a future date or apply it immediately by providing the start and end date.

Note: The name of the Price Rule, will be displayed on the customer’s checkout page

  • Go to Apply to Customers. Here you have the leverage to choose from the type of customers, like logged-in customers, not logged-in, specific customers, some specific tagged customers, or to the whole customer base.
  • Choose Custom tags.

Custom tags are the words you use to categorize your customers. This depends on your convenience.

For an instance, you can categorize the customer base into Platinum, Gold, and Silver groups as per their average amount spent. Or you can group your clientele into new and loyal customers and create different price rules for each one of them.

Though the SimpleWholesalePricer app doesn't allow the creation of tags, you can achieve it from your Shopify store admin panel.

Once you have created your tags, SimpleWholesalePricer will automatically link them to your app and you can easily create price rules personalized to each tag.

  • Go to Products
  • Choose All products
  • Go to Custom Prices. Here you can select, whether you want to provide a fixed amount deduction from the price or provide a certain percentage off.
The offers will work as per the priority set for them. For instance, if you are running multiple price rules
1 - The price rule is 12% on the full catalog and the priority is 0.
2 - The price rule is 15% on 1 category and priority is 1.
Then, the rule with priority 0 will be applied at the checkout page.

For Rounding Off Discounts

Whether you are running single currency or multiple-currency store on Shopify, SimpleWholesalePricer app permits you to round off the discounts as per your requirement.

This feature will turn your percentage based discount into a flat amount and rounds down to the nearest integer. For example $5.6 would be rounded off to $6

If requirement is having prices displayed according with specific last two digits then this application gives us privilege too! It's only one out there which allows such choice

E.g.
Case 1 - Actual price is $25.99, discount after calculation is $2.37 and the store wants to display all prices with 99 as their last two digits (even after discount). So, the new discounted price would be $23.99.

Case 2 - Actual price is $35.00, discount after calculation is $3.25 and the store wants to display all its prices with 00 as their last two digits (even after discount). So the new discounted price would be $32.00.
NOTE Discounted price rounding will only work for orders placed in your base currency. In other words, Multi-currency stores can avail this feature only for their base currency.

So, if a customer changes his base country to some other country, then the rounding off prices will not be displayed to him/her.
